Community Relations

Burlington Coat Factory and Baby Depot are committed to the communities in which it lives. We give back to the local organizations in many ways - child car seat education, cancer awareness, providing warmth to families in need, donating products to non-profit organizations for their upcoming fundraisers and much more. Please feel free to learn more about our efforts by clicking on the programs listed on our sidebar.

Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Drive
Now through January 16,2012

The Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Coat Drive is a yearly program that launches in October and continues through January. Burlington Coat Factory partners with ABC’s Good Morning America and the national non-profit organization, One Warm Coat. Each year, Burlington Coat Factory collects gently-worn coats at all stores nationwide and One Warm Coat works with local agencies to distribute the coats to children and adults in need within the store community. Since the program’s inception in 2009, the coat drive has collected 792,090 coats. And this year, we are hoping to achieve a campaign milestone- the collection of our 1 Millionth coat!

Be sure to donate a coat now through January 16, 2012 at your nearby Burlington Coat Factory and as our thank you, receive 10% off  your entire purchase from now through the end of the campaign.

Charitable Donation Program
Burlington Gives Back

Burlington Coat Factory strongly believes in helping non-profit 501 (c) 3 organizations in the communities in which we have stores. To that end, Burlington established a partnership with Fashion Delivers, a national non-profit organization that provides aid to those most in need across the United States and around the world. All Burlington donated merchandise is given to Fashion Delivers, who then distributes the product to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in communities across the country.

In order to be eligible to receive donations from Fashion Delivers, please register your 501(c)(3) organization by contacting Carolyn Pride at carolyn@fashiondelivers.org and requesting an Agency Registration Form. Donations from Burlington Coat Factory, facilitated by Fashion Delivers, are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, by request only. Those who are not able to receive aid immediately will be placed on a waiting list.

Burlington Coat Factory and Fashion Delivers do not make monetary grants, nor do we donate gift cards. We also do not provide merchandise for auction, sale, barter, trade, or for use for fund-raising purposes. However, if your 501(c)(3) organization is interested in seeking a donation of merchandise to go towards assisting those you serve, please reach out to Fashion Delivers directly.
